SMS Program
How MySpot collects opt-in consent and the three message types customers can receive.
MySpot is a point-of-sale and online parking payment platform used at events and venues. There are three separate, customer-initiated SMS flows, described below. Every flow is opt-in only — a customer must type their own phone number into a field to receive that specific message. MySpot does not send marketing, promotional, or recurring messages under any of these flows.
1. On-Site Payment Receipt
1
Card payment approved — The customer taps or inserts their card at the MySpot terminal and the transaction is approved.
2
Receipt prompt displayed — The terminal screen displays: "Send a receipt? (optional)" with a phone number field. This step is entirely optional and customer-initiated.
3
Customer enters their number — Directly beneath the phone number field, the screen discloses: "By entering your number, you agree to receive one SMS text receipt from MySpot. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." No number is pre-filled or assumed.
4
One SMS receipt is sent — A single transactional receipt is delivered immediately. No further messages follow from this flow.

2. Prepaid Pass Confirmation
1
Customer prepays online — At myspot.la/prepay, the customer picks an event and enters their phone number on a web form to receive their pass confirmation.
2
Payment completes — Once the card charge succeeds, MySpot sends one confirmation text with a link to the customer's pass in the online portal.

This is a one-time text — reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg&Data rates may apply.
3. Portal Login Code (2FA)
1
Customer requests access — A customer who already holds a prepaid pass enters their phone number on the portal login page to view their pass and QR code.
2
One-time code sent — MySpot texts a single 6-digit code, valid for 5 minutes, used only to authenticate that login attempt.
Your MySpot parking portal code is: 482913
Expires in 5 minutes.
Login codes are single-use, expire in 5 minutes, and are not marketing — no opt-out language is included per standard 2FA/one-time-passcode conventions.
Message Frequency & Opt-Out
- Frequency: One message per customer action (one receipt per on-site payment, one confirmation per prepaid purchase, one code per login attempt). No recurring or follow-up messages.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to any receipt or pass-confirmation message to stop receiving messages. A confirmation will be sent.
- Help: Reply HELP for support information.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any MySpot message.
You will receive one confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
